Repentance; what the bible says about repenting

Hello my dear friends in christ,Thank God today is a sunday so i hope we all went to church today, to listen to God's words and teaching.
So today i decided to make a post on repentance, since yesterday's topic was on sin and its penalties and i gave few bible verses to help us gain more light on SIN and why its wrong to offend God.

Now what do i mean by repentance?
this is the point when you actually feel sorry for your sins/wrong doing, and you decide from your heart that you want to be forgiven.

How Do You Repent?
When you commit a sin, and you feel remorse for that sin you committed,
but feeling
remorse and sad isn't enough, you may feel bad that you sinned against God but if you don't confess your sins either to a Priest (as Roman Catholics do) or to a Clergy Man/Pastor and then feel the shame of confessing the sin, you may end committing that same sin over and over again.
so for true repentance there must be true confession.

So here are some bible verses i cooked up for you to study and learn more about True Repentance
Ezek 14.6- Therefore say unto the house of isreal, Thus said the Lord God; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away from all your abominations.

Jer 3.13- Only acknowledge thine iniquity,that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, said the Lord.

Job 11.13-15- If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him; if iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy terbanacles, For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shall be steadfast,and shalt not fear:

more bible verses- you can also read Job 22.21-23; Prov, 1.23; Jer 26.13; Ezek, 18-31;

Enjoy and share with your family and loved ones if you liked it.
Thank you for reading!
